Context

Pithhead needed a public site that explained the company and its games. I used Codex to implement it, then reviewed the result against its purpose and visual direction.

Approach

I established the site's purpose, audience, hierarchy, and visual reference points, then used Codex to turn that direction into an implementation. I reviewed the output in small passes and adjusted both the instructions and the code as decisions became clearer.

What happened

The result was a public Pithhead site and a more practical understanding of where human direction matters most in AI-assisted development.

Working with AI

Codex handled much of the implementation. My role was to provide the context it could not infer: what the site needed to communicate, which details were essential, what visual choices did not fit, and how each revision should be judged.

Limitations

I did not build the site manually. The quality still depended on the decisions, references, and review criteria I supplied, and some refinements required several iterations.
